The block party last Sunday was fantastic. Hanging out outside, with old friends, new friends, great food, groovy music. Kids and adults from the neighborhood, guests from Iwate, passing the day with good conversation…this is the good stuff in life…and all in my own backyard. Luxury…
この間の近所祭り最高だた！子どもたち、友達、美味しい飲み物、食べ物、焼き物、グルービー音楽。。。近くから来た人、遠くから来た人、面白い会話で一日を過ごす。。。これは人生の美味しい所。。。んで私の庭だた。。。贅沢だな～

I wish there was a word bigger than “thank you” for all of the people who helped out with this event. Of course, TaroKun~who continually wows me with wackiness. Sanbeam, antennasia, Coubie, and AbeSan (our very own neighborhood monk)~I can’t think of a better soundtrack for the day. Mari from Cafe De Mieux for feeding our bellies, Yuji and Hoshi kun for grilling up a storm, Daisy Candles for rockin’ the lighting…………………….and Rokujuninmachi, for letting us live here.
I can’t wait for next year!!!
